Set-up roles and rights to secure the system
The security functions of the GBS'E-commerce solution ensures that you can guarantee your e-commerce users that no unwanted commerce can occur on their accounts - for example from former employees. Having these security functions available for your customers to use, provides you with a strong argument if any debt issues arise.
Roles ensures security
You can assign your e-commerce users different roles, providing access to various areas of the e-commerce site. At the same time, these roles form a part of the creation of all menus and text in e-commerce and the roles help determine which products should be visible.
A role can be assigned different rights – such as ability to:
- Create another user to the same debtor
- View prices, list prices, invoice prices, etc.
- View history such as bank statements and invoices
- Submit the basket and thus completing a booking
- View inventories
- Switch user within the same debtor who have the same invoice account /
- Configure the IP Whitelist
A debtor's administrator role will typically contain "All rights", while there is a role for your debtor's financial staff and people clerks. There are other specific roles for your employees so they can access the setup of the structure of e-commerce, etc.
Roles can also be used for setting up what users who are not logged in, may see. In this way a Consumer2Business customer is also included in the solution.
